This event will feature local pros who specialize in sustainable design and management:

Lane Community College (LCC) Grounds Manager, Julia Schnabel will discuss LCC's program for managing the campus grounds, highlighting the practical strategies they've used to transition almost completely away from using pesticides.

From the Eugene Parks and Open Space Department, Chris Girard will talk about the city's Pesticide-Free Park Program and methods they use to avoid pesticides in these areas.

Holde Fink of Native and Urban Gardens will share his approach to providing comprehensive landscaping services while emphazing ecological principles and avoiding toxic chemicals. Holde is an organic land care provider accredited through Oregon Tilth.
